"Everything just fits perfectly" was the verdict of the test rider of the "MY BIKE" lady bike test. The trade magazine evaluated seven different women's bikes and tested them on the ECS test stand of the Zedler Institute. The frame stiffness was tested first and foremost, which is different on bikes with a lower entry because the top tube is not horizontal, unlike the classic diamond frame. The test victory of the 8X Lite Tour Lady shows that our engineers can compensate for these differences very well through perfect development work.
"The seating position is finely tuned and so sporty that the stiff frame converts every pedal pressure directly into propulsion. Yet even after many kilometers you still sit without tension, and the light-footedness of the 8X is fun every meter of the way," praises "MY BIKE", adding, "Balanced steering, high maneuverability, effortless acceleration, uncompromising braking power, and in the dark, the best possible light."
The reasons: Our noble sports tourer comes with top equipment that makes every ride as pleasant as possible. The tapered design of the seat tube and head tube ensure the necessary stiffness, drive efficiency and steering precision, the 3x10-speed Deore XT gears from Shimano provide finely graduated transmission in any terrain and the eponymous hydraulic disc brakes ensure full control. In addition, there are internally routed cables for a cleaner look. The fast Schwalbe G-One Allround Performance tires also allow the "MY BIKE" test winner to roll optimally. Another big plus is the 100 lux bright headlight from Busch + Müller.
And as if that wasn't enough, "the specially shaped strut feet of the luggage rack raise the luggage stiffness to touring bike level", say the testers and give it the top score of 1.5 in the bike comparison with conviction.
