The Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition Drive Unit offers a maximum torque of 85 Nm for powerful, enduring support. Sprints from a standing start and from low speeds after challenging sections or obstacles are easily possible, as is dynamic riding with high cadence of up to 120 rpm. At the same time, the support is sporty-aggressive and extremely powerful at all times and in all riding situations.

This is made possible by the new Race mode, which is exclusively available for the Bosch Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition and was specially developed for use in E-MTB races and with the support of successful E-bike athletes. It offers stronger and more vehement acceleration as well as a maximum support power of 400 percent of your own pedal force. For even more power reserves, the Extended Boost known from the eMTB mode has been integrated. This has been adapted for the Race mode and is available for even longer in order to be able to quickly overcome complex rock or root passages. The forward drive of the Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition is extremely powerful and direct, especially in Race mode, so that a precise riding technique and a high degree of bike control are necessary to be able to exploit the full potential of the drive unit.

Thanks to a revised housing design and lighter materials, weight has also been saved so that the Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition Drive Unit weighs only 2.7 kilograms. The reduced mass of the drive unit allows for a lower overall weight of the bike and thus improved handling, especially in fast corners, through challenging bends and on difficult trails.

The Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition Drive Unit supports Bosch's "The smart system" and offers intelligent networking and update functions of the drive unit, battery, display and remote as well as the possibility to adjust all riding modes to the rider's personal needs via the Bosch eBike Flow app.

The Hill Hold push assist is also integrated. It prevents the E-bike from unintentionally rolling back when pushing on steep slopes and in difficult passages. This makes the E-bike easier and less energy-consuming to move, the rider is less fatigued over time and thus is in much better condition at the end of the ride. In tight and steep corners, Hill Hold can also be used to move the rear wheel of the E-MTB in a targeted manner.

As a selected partner, STEVENS installs the Bosch Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition drive unit in the top model of the E-Inception full suspension E-MTB series, the AM 9.7.1 GTF. The high-end E-MTB is equipped with some of the highest quality components on the market. These are mounted on a lightweight high-tech carbon frame in classic matt black with noble visible carbon areas. Visual understatement that stands in clear contrast to the aggressive performance of the drive and E-bike.

The clearly performance-oriented equipment includes Shimano's exclusive XTR shifting group, a set of powerful XTR brakes and the noble 150 mm Fox Factory suspension, consisting of a Factory 36 Factory Float fork and a DPS Factory rear shock. Both come with the popular gold-coloured Kashima coating for ultra-sensitive response of the damping components. Also fitted are lightweight Race Face carbon system wheels for agile handling, especially in fast corners.

The CX Race Limited Edition motor power is fed by a permanently installed 750 Wh battery for practically unlimited riding fun and plenty of range even in demanding terrain. This allows you to ride your favourite trails more often, or for longer. The electric-powered full suspension bike also supports Bosch's "The smart system". Together with the Bosch eBike Flow app, the drive unit, battery, Kiox 300 display and LED remote control unit can be extensively customised, expanded and updated to keep the drive unit, and thus the entire bike, always up to date.

The E-Inception AM 9.7.1 GTF with Bosch's Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition Drive Unit was presented to the trade public for the first time at the STEVENS in-house exhibition. Thomas Marquardt, product developer at STEVENS and responsible for the E-Inception E-MTB range: "After the first test ride of the new Bosch Performance Line CX Race Limited Edition prototype motor, it was clear that this motor had to go into our top model.
