With the support of Lasse STEVENS strengthens its commitment to triathlon sports. Thus, in addition to the man from Lower Saxony, Johannes Vogel from Rostock and World Triathlon Cup winner Petra Kuříková also count on the low air resistance, high performance and versatile use of our excellent Arcalis Aero road bike.
The 26-year-old from near Cuxhaven is currently ranked 8th in the World Triathlon Ranking. After narrowly missing out on qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, his clear goal for qualifying this year is therefore: "Paris 2024"! "I will give everything this season to get one of the two direct tickets for the 2024 Summer Olympics in France," says Lasse.
Currently, he is preparing for the first competitions in the altitude training camp in Namibia. Then, at the beginning of March, the new World Triathlon Championship Series season will start at the famous Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. "I'm looking forward to the new season and especially to competing on a STEVENS bike," said Lasse. "STEVENS is a northern German brand and I'm also from the north – it just goes together really well," said Lasse as he took delivery of his new STEVENS Arcalis.
Johannes Vogel is also a true North German and rides a STEVENS. The 27-year-old from Rostock is currently the third-best German in the world rankings and, like Lasse, clearly has his sights set on the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. He, too, is currently preparing for the start of the season in a high-altitude training camp in southern Africa.
The third triathlete in the group is Czech Petra Kuříková, who also competes in the sprint and Olympic distances. The 31-year-old not only competed at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, she also managed to win her first World Triathlon Cup victory last year in Pontevedra, Spain. Petra has already been successfully riding STEVENS bikes for several years – not only outdoors, but also in indoor cycling such as the Arena Games Triathlon Series.
