The Whaka ES is made for longer outings on rough trails, says Bike Freak Magazine in their current issue about STEVENS’ new touring fully.

140mm of travel at the fork and rear shock plus 29” wheels (27.5” for frame size 16in for better handling) shod in 2.35” tires - Schwalbe Hans Dampf in front, Nobby Nic at the rear - are just the right requirements for trail surfing, says the magazine.

The hydroformed aluminium frame painted in Lime Green provides a neutral seating position due to its relatively steep seat angle and flat steering angle. Steering is always direct but never nervous.

This makes the Whaka ES a comfortably nimble ride and provides a lot of security when descending. The Rockshox front and rear suspension works flawlessly and the specs including a complete Shimano XT group deliver perfect performance.
