So the editors went out to test current cyclocross and gravel bikes. The new Super Prestige Force is most certainly well-suited for road cyclists, the editors say. It offered the rider a sporty seating position and directional stability plus conveniently direct steering. Therefore the Super Prestige was also suitable for the road: “Steerer tube angle and fork rake would work perfectly on tarmac.” off-road, the Super Prestige also behaved securely and directly due to these characteristics – “which definitely boosts the rider’s confidence.”

The Stevens scored additional points with its light wheels and very grippy, always reliable, 33mm wide Schwalbe X-One Allround tires. Wheels and tires are tubeless-ready – and to enter the upcoming race.

The RoadBIKE editors also praised the drivetrain: “Sram Force and light Easton carbon cranks are a sensation in this price range!”

With its ride characteristics and top-shelf specs the Super Prestige was a race-ready, light-weight ‘crosser with a stiff frame set for which it earned the highest number of points and therefore a “very good” rating in the race-oriented cyclocross category.

In addition the Super Prestige was more than a modern cyclocross bike. With wider tires it worked very well as a fast gravel bike with narrower less-profiled tires it makes a flawless road bike.

Conclusion: The Super Prestige is a fascinating cyclocross bike, the tested bike was race-ready. Top-shelf specs bring the weight down and the stiff frame is really versatile.
