S-pedelecs with a starting aid up to 20 km/h and a pedal support with 4 kilowatts max up to 45 km/h are considered “light motorcycles with low power” or “mopeds”.

The list contains components that we permit replacement on S-pedelecs for. This permission is valid for any possible combination of listed handlebars and stems. With this permission we want to give consumers the opportunity to get their STEVENS S-pedelec adapted to their body proportions without any problems.

Please note that this permission as well as the list of replacement items is valid for S-pedelecs of model year 2016 only. It is not valid for STEVENS S-pedelecs of model years 2015 and older.

Just like for pedelecs supporting the rider’s pedal stroke with 250 watts max up to 25 km/h max, the following also applies for S-pedelecs: The person unlawfully replacing parts of an S-pedelec becomes manufacturer by law with all liabilities arising from it.

Please consider the following aspects when replacing parts or when making any modifications: Replacement of components by original parts is basically permitted. Apart from this, the legal situation is different depending on the parts groups listed below:
