From August 31 to September 4, we presented more than 200 new and optimized models to qualified specialist trade and media at international, leading bicycle fair in Friedrichshafen at Lake Constance.

It was a very close finish: In the final overall classification Patrick Schelling of Team Vorarlberg and fourth-ranked Delio Fernandez of Pro-Continental team Delko Marseille were separated by only two seconds.

Christian Pfäffle of STEVENS MTB Racing Team rode a fantastic race at the Cross Country World Championships in Nove Mest, Czech Republic. Starting from position 100, he rode up to place 15 on his new STEVENS Jura Carbon therefore becoming best ranked rider of the German national team.

Iceland is a special place: Scarcely populated, marbled by glacial lagoons, waterfalls, geysers, fjords, and volcanoes. No wonder that the Blue Lagoon Challenge taking place there is not an ordinary mountain bike race. It is 60km (38mls) long with moderate 600m (1968ft) mostly over gravel roads.

In the swimming leg Ricarda already left her mark and came out of the water in first place after 25:44 minutes, closely followed by Anja Beranek and Julia Gajer. Beranek who eventually won the race quickly rode ahead on the bike while Ricarda Lisk on her STEVENS Super Trofeo and other chasers were fighting for the podium places.
