The extremely low temperatures and the resulting hard surface placed high demands on the riders throughout the day. In the Men's Elite race, STEVENS Racing Team U23 rider Fynn Termin finished in a good 2nd place behind Silas Koech. Niklas Behrens just missed the podium with 4th place, Silas Kuschla had to let go in the course of the race and finally finished 12th.
In the Women's Elite race, team colleagues Larissa Luttuschka and Stefanie Paul rode wheel-to-wheel for most of the race. In the final stages, Larissa managed to open up a small gap and win the race by two seconds ahead of Stefanie.
In the Masters 2 class, the brothers Sebastian and Thomas Hannöver finished 2nd and 3rd, the German champion Stefan Danowski won Masters 3. Lars Erdmann also achieved a podium result in the Masters 4 class.
The final of the Cyclo-Cross Bundesliga 2022/23 will be held in Vechta at the beginning of January.
