“Velomotion" took a close look at 27 gravel bikes and put the bikes from the trendy gravel segment through their paces. Our STEVENS Prestige was convincing. "With its first real gravel bike, STEVENS has hit the bullseye. It is beginner-friendly, the handling is lively but easy to control, the equipment is of high quality, the frame is suitable for touring", the experts summed up after their test round.
The high praise is due to the high-quality engineering work, the result of which is the specially designed gravel geometry. "Compared to a cross bike, you sit a little longer and slightly more upright on the gravel bike and enjoy a handy, agile ride," the testers analyze. In addition to the comfortable seating position, the longer wheelbase and the resulting smooth ride make for a pleasant riding experience. The large tire clearance of up to 45 mm is also comfortable.
In addition to the geometry, our STEVENS Prestige also scores with its equipment. The testers particularly praised the GRX component group specially developed by Shimano for gravel requirements. Among other things, the GRX 810 gears score with their gear range of 46/30 teeth at the front and 11-34 cassette. The experts also liked the numerous eyelets attaching bags and drinks bottles, as well as the mudguards and rear rack.
Finally, the testers praise the "high-quality frame with many mounting options", the "agile-handling steering behavior", the "very good equipment" and the "attractive price". For an RRP of only 1,799 euros, our STEVENS Prestige is available from specialist dealers in two colors and six different sizes. The gravel adventure can begin.
