In the elite men's race, Emiel Verstrynge finished second after a strong performance, while Sanne Laurijssen also took silver in the U23 women's race, narrowly missing out on the title.
In Great Britain, Cameron Mason from Team Seven Racing made another mark: with his fourth consecutive title, he confirmed his exceptional position in British cyclocross.
There was also cause for celebration at the German Championships. The young athletes were particularly impressive: Eike Behrens was crowned German champion in the U23 men's category, while Silas Kuschla came in third. In the U19 women's category, Amandine Jakob rounded off the strong performance with second place.
Another highlight was provided by Lars Sommer, who narrowly missed out on a podium place at the Swiss Championships, finishing fourth.
Numerous other top-10 finishes in all classes rounded off a weekend that left us wanting more.
Congratulations to all drivers on these achievements—a strong signal for the rest of the season.
