The organising club R.C. "Die Schalben München" had marked out a nationals-worthy track on the course of the Munich Super Cross, which gained further character during the weekend due to the rainy weather and thus it quickly developed the deep surface typical for cyclocross racing.

In the Men's Elite race, traditionally the conclusion of the nationals weekend on Sunday afternoon, it was STEVENS Racing Team rider Marcel Meisen who was to take 2nd place and thus the silver medal. After a good start, the Stolberg-based rider, together with the later winner Sascha Weber, initially formed the leading group, but Marcel had to let go in the further course, as he was not yet in full possession of his strength again after illness. In the end, he secured the runner-up spot with a good three-minute lead over third placed Michael Gaßner.

In the Women's Elite race on Saturday, Stefanie Paul took the 3rd place on the podium, team mate Larissa Luttuschka finished the nationals with a 9th place and thus within the top 10.

Also on Saturday, the U23 race was held. Silas Kuschla (4th) and Luca Harter (5th) narrowly missed the podium. Fynn Termin (11th), Markus Eydt (13th), Maximilian Krüger (15th) and Louis Krauss (20th) fell short of their expectations on the difficult course, but made it into the top 20. In the race of the U19 riders it was Piet Loos who managed a good 5th place in a strong field of youngsters.

In the Masters 3, reigning Masters World Champion Jens Schwedler lived up to his role as favourite. He took Gold with a 35 seconds lead. Stefan Danowski, overall Masters 3 winner of the Cyclo-Cross Bundesliga, just missed the podium with a 4th place. He was therefore unable to defend his DM title.

Masters 2 Bronze went to Thomas Hannöver, his brother Sebastian finished the race in 6th place. In Masters 4, Sven Harter came in 6th.
