S-Lite aluminium fork

This is what a modern rigid fork looks like today: The straight fork blades and the fork crown are moulded from a single piece – this saves welding seams and guarantees maximum rigidity and steering precision. Full mudguards and a lowrider luggage rack can be fitted, as can an elegant holder for the front headlight. The version with QR15 thru-axle can be made particularly theft-proof with an optional Pitlock system. And yet the STEVENS S-Lite aluminium fork fully lives up to its name on the scales.

QR15 thru axle

The "15" stands for the axle diameter, the "QR" for "Quick Release" – and together for the most functional method of anchoring the front wheel in the (suspension) fork. The advantages are impressive: high rigidity, precise brake disc positioning and foolproof operation. STEVENS therefore equips all mountain bikes and E-MTBs as well as the highest quality trekking bikes, cross bikes and E-bikes with them. For (E-)MTBs in particular, the installation width has even been increased – from 100 to 110 mm, which is even stiffer.

Tyre clearance up to 47 mm (City/Trekking/Tour & E-Bike)

If you ride more frequently on less than optimal surfaces, you can fit tyres up to 47 mm wide – and then benefit from greater riding comfort and puncture protection thanks to their larger air volume, as you can now ride with lower tyre pressure. The frames and forks of these bikes are already prepared for this.

Dropouts with integrated pannier rack eyelets

In collaboration with pannier rack specialists Tubus/Racktime STEVENS’ engineers have developed a dropout that also serves as an elegant pannier rack mount. It not only looks fantastic, it also ensures that forces caused by luggage or large amounts of groceries are evenly transmitted inot the frame – resulting in a more stable and safer design.

Even if you can’t see the support of the pannier rack to the seat stays – it’s there. A strut runs under the mudguard and – in conjunction with the mudguard attached to the pannier rack – provides even more stability and lateral stiffness.

City and trekking bicycles

This category describes STEVENS city and trekking bikes. STEVENS City Cross, Urban, Trekking Premium, Trekking, City, Junior Tour from 26”.

Instructions on intended use

The maximum permissible overall weight (comprising rider, luggage, possibly trailer load and bicycle) should not exceed 130 kg. Under certain circumstances this maximum permissible overall weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use.
STEVENS city and trekking bikes are designed for a trailer load of 40 kg without and 80 kg with trailer brake.
Child seats are permitted on STEVENS city and trekking bikes. For more information see the chapter “Use of Child Seats” in your comprehensive STEVENS user manual.

STEVENS city and trekking bikes are intended for hard-surface terrain, i.e. for tarred roads and bicycle lanes or gravel field tracks, where the wheels do not lose ground contact. These bicycles are not suitable for off-road and competitive use of any kind whatsoever.

Due to their design and fittings, STEVENS city and trekking bicycles are not always suitable for being used on public roads. If you want to use them on public roads, these bikes must be fitted with the prescribed equipment. Observe the traffic rules when riding on public roads.
