Made for maximum speed

Whoever fights for every single second on the road, for every centimeter in a sprint to the finish, demands a road bike that lets them be better at exactly that difference. A bike that can hardly be faster, that can defy air resistance. The STEVENS Arcalis, with its frame weight of just over 950 grams and its outstanding aero characteristics, thanks in part to full cable integration, is just such a bike. The wind tunnel and numerous test victories have shown this.

  • Carbon performance model with maximum integration for absolute aerodynamics
  • Manufactured using SSL technology for low weight and optimum rigidity
  • Integrated seatpost, available in 0 mm or 20 mm offset
  • 30 mm tire clearance for ultimate comfort
  • Numerous innovative options in the configurator

Technology

Aero frame

Aero frame

Our engineers have spent countless hours tinkering with the frame of the Arcalis aero racer. The result is more than impressive and has proven itself in wind tunnel tests and on the road. The reduced front surface of the aerodynamic design significantly reduces air resistance and skilfully guides the airflow past the frame in a streamlined manner.

SSL frames

SSL frames

The weight reduction was achieved through the use of selected carbon fibres, a sophisticated layup and optimised use of resin. The refined production method results in frames that have the same stiffness and comfort values as the previous frames despite the lower weight.

It is simply intelligent lightweight construction when STEVENS engineers use 100% carbon fibres for the forks of road racers and cross bikes, from the dropouts right up to the steerer tube. The resulting riding experience on the road and off-road is impressive: lightweight plus steering precision, effortless climbing and razor-sharp cornering performance. Maximum torsional rigidity even for the most powerful disc brakes.

It is especially important for disc brakes that ultra-lightweight road bikes are prepared to accommodate them in order to make the most of their advantages. So the forks and rear triangles of your disc road bikes are spec’d with extra-safe 12 mm thru-axles.

Tyre clearance up to 30 mm (Race)

Even the road pros at the Tour de France have now realised that wider tyres roll faster. And isn’t it these small side roads with their often dubious tarmac quality that are the most fun? In any case, anyone who frequently rides on routes with less slippery surfaces can prepare their racing bike for this with tyres up to 28 mm wide – and then benefit from greater riding comfort.
