With a belt drive, a sturdy belt transmits the drive from the crank to the sprocket of the drive wheel. Although the non-separable design of the belt requires a STEVENS frame with a separable right seat stay as a special measure, the advantages are convincing: noticeable weight savings, silent running and significantly lower maintenance requirements.

In collaboration with pannier rack specialists Tubus/Racktime STEVENS’ engineers have developed a dropout that also serves as an elegant pannier rack mount. It not only looks fantastic, it also ensures that forces caused by luggage or large amounts of groceries are evenly transmitted inot the frame – resulting in a more stable and safer design.

If you frequently ride your E-bike on on less than optimal roads, you can fit tyres up to 50 mm wide – and then benefit from greater riding comfort and puncture protection thanks to their larger air volume, as you can now ride with lower tyre pressure.
