The E-4X Tour offers first-class conditions for starting out on a sporty and active bike tour: As a descendant of STEVENS' X-Crossers, it has a low overall weight – without compromising on robustness, reliability and functionality. The electric thrust of the smooth Bosch Active Line Plus drive unit is also sufficient for long stages thanks to the 400 Wh battery. In collaboration with pannier rack specialists Tubus/Racktime STEVENS’ engineers have developed a dropout that also serves as an elegant pannier rack mount. It not only looks fantastic, it also ensures that forces caused by luggage or large amounts of groceries are evenly transmitted inot the frame – resulting in a more stable and safer design.

Integrated pannier rack strut

Even if you can’t see the support of the pannier rack to the seat stays – it’s there. A strut runs under the mudguard and – in conjunction with the mudguard attached to the pannier rack – provides even more stability and lateral stiffness.
