The frame – modern lightweight construction.
In addition to a fundamentally redesigned frame, the latest generation of STEVENS E-Inception models impresses with numerous technical optimisations and innovative details. Thanks to refined manufacturing techniques and the Superlight Carbon Layup, the new E-Inception frame is more than 500 grams lighter than the previous carbon frame. With virtually identical stiffness values.
The design language of the new E-Inception frame is clearly based on its predecessors. Design elements such as a straight top tube without kinks, clear edges and smoothed lines give the new E-Inception a modern and harmonious look. This is underlined by a slimmer down tube in combination with a slightly thicker seat tube and refined transitions. The optimised geometry with two degrees steeper seat tube angles improves traction on technical climbs. In addition, the 0.5 degrees flatter head angle and greater reach promise even more bike control on challenging terrain.
The rear triangle – rigid and universal.
The newly developed, shorter rear triangle, in combination with the 27.5-inch rear wheel, offers outstanding agility on winding trails and when things really get going downhill. The revised kinematics with optimised utilisation of the middle suspension travel ensure more comfortable handling with less pedal kickback. The use of double-row ball bearings has also further increased stiffness. The rear triangle is SRAM Full Mount compatible, but standard derailleurs from Shimano, SRAM, TRP and others can also be used with the addition of a UDH derailleur hanger.
The seat tube – straighter and shorter.
New, straighter seat tubes that are between five millimetres and 35 millimetres shorter with greater insertion depth allow the use of long-stroke dropper posts for an optimised ratio between frame size and usable seat post length. For more efficient pedalling and greater freedom of movement on the bike.
The drive unit – up the hill with 120 Nm.
The new E-Inception models rely on the smart power delivery of the latest Bosch Performance Line CX BDU384 drive unit. This delivers a maximum torque of 120 Nm and can be individually adjusted and tuned via the Bosch eBike Flow app. The full 120 Nm of torque is already activated ex works, and the Eco+, Tour+, EMTB+ and Turbo assistance modes are available. If you prefer other modes, you can also choose from all other assistance modes provided by Bosch via the Bosch E-Bike Flow app. These can be compiled and configured according to your own preferences via the app.
The new E-Inception with Bosch BDU384 drive unit is prepared for optional installation of the Bosch ConnectModule.
The battery – easy charging, anytime, anywhere.
Regardless of frame size, removable batteries are standard on all new E-Inception models. This is made possible by new, more compact Bosch PowerTube batteries and an optimised down tube design, among other things. The robust battery cover can be removed in one easy step, revealing the 800 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery. Alternatively, the battery can also be charged via the charging socket on the frame.
All frame sizes are also compatible with the optional Bosch PowerMore Range Extender, for even greater range on the most extensive all-mountain or enduro adventures.
The cockpit – minimised yet packed with information.
The drive modes are controlled and the most important functions of the drive unit are displayed by the proven, information-rich yet slim trio consisting of the Bosch system controller in the top tube, the Bosch Mini Remote on the handlebars and the Bosch Purion 400 display. In addition to intuitive control, all components fit harmoniously into the cockpit, offering little surface area for branches or twigs to catch on the trail.
The correct frame size.
The new E-Inception frames feature optimised frame sizes and new size designations. They are part of a balanced, modern and harmonious geometry. This allows them to be optimally tailored to requirements. One element of the new frame geometry is shorter seat tubes, which allow the use of long dropper posts. This makes it easy for riders to choose different frame sizes, allowing them to better tailor the seating position and characteristics of the bike to their own needs. Choose a smaller frame size for maximum playfulness on the trail and downhill. If you prefer more stability, go for the next larger frame size. For a smoother ride and greater safety downhill. Frame size stickers have been developed specifically for this purpose. They provide information about the frame size (R1 to R5 or S to XL), the ideal size range and the stack and reach values of the frame. The stickers also show recommendations for easy frame size selection.
