Early-Season Wins in Belgium And Germany

The native Dane and Luxembourgian by choice won the first run of the Ardennes Marathon Series. In the “La Hallonienne“ race in Grand-Halleux Sören Nissen rode to an almost start-to-finish victory. Very early he had broken away from the pursuit on his STEVENS Sonora to tackle the 75 kilometers (47 miles) and 1900 meters (6234 feet) of elevation in the Belgian Ardennes.

Superb For Everyday Riding and Touring

The STEVENS E-Gadino does not want to draw attention, is the editors’ first impression of the city pedelec painted in Slate Grey. As pleasantly inconspicuous the appearance as superb a ride is the E-Gadino: “It does not want to stand out by looks or technology-wise, but due to its sovereign character it always keeps its calm.”

Tourer and Commuter

Gold on black: For their 2.2019 issue, the editors of ElektroRad magazine started with evaluating the E-Lavena PT5’s looks. For once, there is the low-key STEVENS logo on the black downtube that houses the 500 Wh PowerTube battery from Bosch. The livery and integrated battery were just a few of the details to the testers’ liking, and they found more: the rather sports-oriented seating position and the high quality SR Suntour suspension that was unusual in this price category.

Sporty, Comfortable, Nimble and Agile

For ambitious beginners: On the San Remo you sit a little more stretched-out than on the other candidates in a test of entry-level road bikes for around 1,000 Euros by ADFC Radwelt magazine in its 02.2019 edition. Yet, since the head tube is not too short, the seating position is comfortable enough for road bike beginners, the editors state.

Long-Distance Drop-Bar Commuter

Bike typology: The new STEVENS Supreme is a class of bicycle developing within the continuing gravel trend. It is still developing since there is not an efficient number yet to call it its own category – but this maybe still to come, according to My Bike issue 3.2019 that introduces different modern drop-bar sports bikes.

Balanced and Outstanding All-Round Bike

The most important criterium for road bikes in the 1,500-Euros category is value for money, says RennRad in its current 4.2019 issue: “Lots of bike, lots of sportiness, yet also lots of comfort, that’s what it’s all about.” Bikes in this price range are already far from being entry-level. This is demonstrated by the STEVENS Aspin with its full Shimano Ultegra group mounted on a “very light and robust aluminium frame”, which also offered a comfortably balanced ride. For the sum of its qualities the Aspin was awarded the “best buy” tip in a test field of nine bikes.
