“STRONG AND SAFE" - The Strada 800 in the BIKE Bild test

In issue 6-23, German consumer magazine, Stiftung Warentest took a close look at eleven city e-bikes. One of them: the STEVENS E-Courier PT5, which convinced the testers with its agile, safe handling even when loaded.

There is also praise for the "timeless appearance". The urban racer in the color "Frozen Silver" not only looks shiny, but also rides like it: "You sit quite sportily on the Strada, as befits a nippy fitness bike". As standard, the bike rolls on Continental Contact Speed tires with a width of 32 millimeters, which, according to the editors, "hits the sweet spot between durability, performance and puncture protection."

This arrow-fast aluminum bike weighs barely more than 10 kilograms, not least thanks to the STEVENS S-Lite aluminum fork, and also receives 10 out of 10 points for this in the test. The stiff frame and the fork impress in interaction with agile-precise handling. The Shimano 105 Compact drivetrain converts pedal power into stormy forward momentum - adequately kept in check by hydraulic flatmount disc brakes.

"With the Strada, Stevens once again underscores what the Hamburg-based company stands for: Sport, reliability and durability," concludes the BIKE Bild editors, awarding it an excellent score of 1.6.
