E-Triton 7.6.1 – test victory in BIKE Bild E-trekking bike comparison

In issue 1/23, the BIKE Bild editorial team took a close look at eight high-quality E-trekking bikes. The test winner was the STEVENS E-Triton 7.6.1, which impresses with its balanced character.

The test editors particularly praised the coherent and high-quality specification of the E-bike: "All components are up to date: Kiox display, Schwalbe's Marathon tires in the E-bike version and the powerful lighting system from Busch + Müller." Simply a "good spec package. With Stevens, as a customer you simply know what you're getting," says BIKE Bild.

The editors also praise the 180-millimeter Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. They offer low leverage force, good braking power and excellent dosing. You really get going beforehand with the help of the 11-speed Shimano Deore derailleur. It offers climbing-strong gears for touring in hilly terrain, as well as heavier ratios that allow relaxed riding on the flat.

In the process, the E-Triton 7.6.1 presents itself from its best side. Thanks to its sophisticated frame geometry and optimal weight distribution, it "handles well on the road" and is "powerful in all aspects". The installed Bosch Performance Line CX drive unit also plays a role here. "In the E-Triton 7.6.1 it is supplied with energy by a 625 Wh battery integrated in the down tube which offers a long range."

And so the BIKE Bild test editors find: "The brand from Hamburg does not afford any weakness, neither in the practical part, nor on the test bench." Finally, the editors attest the STEVENS E-Triton 7.6.1 a hanseatic down-to-earthness "that leads to the test victory".
