Ideal for the "pass tour in the Alps to the quick after-work ride", according to the editors. The test riders especially praise "the well-balanced, lightweight carbon frame with disc brakes" and are pleased with the standard, mechanically shifted Shimano Ultegra drivetrain, which is "tried and tested a million times" while being very reliable.

But it's not just the equipment on paper that is extremely coherent; the bike is also convincing on the road. Thanks to lightweight wheels and fast-rolling 25-millimetre tyres, the Izoard Pro Disc is strong in sprinting and climbing according to the test riders. "The combination of DT Swiss P1800 Spline [wheels] and 25mm Conti Grand Prix [tyres] plays to its strengths, especially uphill, and with its light-footedness and agility it takes the fear even out of long climbs".

The well thought-out design of the frame with its compact wheelbase and short chainstays also contributes to the bike's agility, which "contributes to the lively and agile character of the Izoard". The short wheelbase then also ensures a riding position that is "rather relaxed, but not too upright and thus perfect for long tours". "This means that even hours of touring do not put undue strain on the back and postural muscles".

And so, in the end, the Izoard Pro Disc, that is available both pre-configured and also as part of STEVENS’ own Custom Bike program, receives the rating "Allround Tip", because it is "the perfect bike for everyone who is looking for a not too expensive, very well-balanced all-rounder for every demand", which is also "very well equipped", according to the ROADBIKE test editors.
